Clementan Hudson, 69, of Mound Bayou passed away January 3, 2018, at Bolivar Medical Center in Cleveland.
Services will be held Saturday, January 13, 2018, at noon at First Baptist Church Mound Bayou. Earl V. Hall Sr. will preside over the services.
Visitation will be from 11 a.m.-noon Saturday at the church under the direction of Delta Burial Funeral Home, Mound Bayou.
She was a retired educator of the North Bolivar Consolidated School District, formerly Mound Bayou Public School District and North Bolivar School District; and Sunflower Consolidated School District, formerly Drew Public School District.
She is survived by daughter Gerri Anderson of Horn Lake; and her granddaughters Gerricka Petty of Lorman, NaTassjha Anderson and Bre’Oria Cosby of Horn Lake; her grandmother Bessie Mae Hudson of Gould, AR; her sisters Helen Jean Geater of Chicago, IL, Gwendolyn Hudson Powell of Richmond, CA, and Brenda Cook-Hall of Cleveland; her brothers, Thurston Alsup of Liberal, KS, Charles Alsup of Gould, AR, Earl Hudson of Dayton, OH, Edward Hudson of Dos Palos, CA, David Hudson of Oakland, CA, Ray Anthony Hudson of Oakley, CA, Jessie Hudson, Jr. of Richmond, CA, and Brady Cook, Mound Bayou; her brother and sister-in-laws Reverend Earl V. Hall Sr., Mound Bayou, Tracy L. Brown-Alsup, Pace, and Faye Alsup of Liberal; and a host of nieces, nephews, friends, classmates, former co-workers and students.
