The Associated Press reported Thursday that a man suspected of posing as a law enforcement officer to stop motorists has been taken into custody in Humphreys County. A connection with two recent murders along north Mississippi highways last week has not yet been established. Connection or not, Mississippians have lost more in the last week than the lives of two of its own.
