Statesmen pound Wonderboys 13-6

The Delta State University Statesmen continued to their offensive attack Wednesday as they scored double figures in runs for a fourth straight game to defeat the Arkansas Tech University Wonderboys 13-6 Wednesday in baseball action at Russellville, Ark. DSU improved to 32-7, while Arkansas Tech fell to 26-16.

One of my favorite baseball movies is 61* It’s the movie about New Yankees stars Roger Maris and Mickey Mantle trying to eclipse Babe Ruth’s home run record of 60. Maris broke the record and finished with 61 home runs in the season of 1961.
